Dear Cardinal Family,
I want to inform you that we have decided to cancel school today, January 23rd. Despite our hopes, the ice did not melt sufficiently overnight in the neighborhoods and our campuses, making it unsafe for students and staff to travel. We anticipate that the conditions will improve by mid-morning, but until then, it is better to err on the side of caution.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Stay safe and warm.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jeremy Hogan,
January 22, 2024
Dear Cardinal Family,
I hope this message finds you well. While improved, campus conditions, neighborhood roadways, and driveways are still icy and hazardous. We hope we experience more melting before tomorrow morning and can have school. We will reassess the situation early tomorrow morning and let you know if school will be in session.
If we have to cancel school, it will be a snow day, and we will not have distance learning. Please stay safe and keep an eye out for any updates from us.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jeremy Hogan
The following activities have been canceled or postponed for tonight.
JH basketball @ Glenpool, Varsity basketball @ Skiatook, and JH wrestling @ Grove. Makeup dates will be posted, if available, as soon as possible.
Dear Cardinal Family,
I am writing to inform you that our campuses and roadways are already experiencing icing and there is more forecasted for overnight. Due to this, there will be no school tomorrow, January 22nd.
I want to clarify that tomorrow will be a snow day and not a distance learning day. If you must venture outside, please exercise caution as it is quite slippery.
Sincerely,
Dr. Hogan.
